I am a US citizen, I travel to the Caribbean and Mexico each year. Which of the new documents will I need?Can anyone give me clear info on the new cards for travel in June of 2009?
You will need a passport and can choose between a passport book which can be used for any manner of travel anywhere in the world, and the passport card which can be used only for land and sea travel between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean region and Bermuda. See site below.
